Olivia   Box​

I am a surface pattern designer and have taken my inspiration for this project from my appreciation of nature through photographs of flowers and leaves. This has been a great influence in my practice designing large-scale floral surface patterns for wallpaper and wall panels.

 

Utlizing the drawing skills I have developed over the past three years and experimenting with a range of media and mark making techniques to create a variety of drawing styles. I then developed these hand drawn textures digitally to create a collection of designs that work both as one off panel design and a repeating design.

 

I also incorporated an element of geometric patterns and shapes within my collections to ensure the work has a contemporary feel and shows diversity within my portfolio allowing the designs to be appropriate for a domestic interior context.
